5 Things To Love Spring

How was your weekend, guys? I hope it went well! We recovered from a tiring day in Berlin. We went there again due to an appointment. We left home pretty early because we do not want to be late and get stuck in a traffic jam because Friday is the day where people go back to their hometown and there are always lots of people on the highway. So we want a relaxing car ride to Berlin to avoid stress.

It was sunny there in Berlin and i can feel the spring vibes approaching! There is something magical when you step outside and realize that the air starts to smell sweet. It’s been storming lately in our city and when the sun comes out, you know it’s time to stay outside the whole day. What could be more perfect than the longer days, evenings for more walking and opening the doors and the windows to let the warm breeze flow through the house? Spring has been my favorite season now and i love it nearly as much as i love Autumn, the changing of the seasons.

The sun

Surprise, surprise! Of course, the sun! I mean, everybody's like: 5° doesn't bother me, it's sunny and i'm going outside feeling the sun on my face! Haha! Actually, by everybody i mean me, and since it's so freaking cold here in winter, the sunshine becomes my very best friend.

The outfit

Girl, it's time. Put your winter coat in the back of your closet for good. Spring is all about dresses and shirts and cute tops and skirts and the list could go on and on. You know, it’s not so hot that you’re sweating, but it’s not so cold that you have to bundle up. Spring is awesome, don't you think?

Grilling

I LOVE this thing! The smell and the barbecue sauce and all that. I'm a fan. I don’t wait for summer to fire up the grill. AND, it keeps the kitchen clean! Does anyone really need a reason to love grilling? It's grilling!

Outdoor activities

OH, it's finally nice going outside! I don't even like to walk around on cold days. The only reason could be the fresh air and the falling snow but that's it. It's never be fun actually, but when the sun is lovely: bike ride, picnic, flying kite, badminton, gardening are fantastic! The streets are suddenly filled with lots of people and the city feels alive again.

The flowers

Almost forgot to mention this one! The trees lining the streets are budding and parks are blooming. Just flowers, and more flowers! Because fresh blooming flowers means life. I don't even have to explain why, do I?

Bonus: taking a walk without shivering! (this has to be on the list!)

Have a great day everyone!

Stylish Spring Outfit Ideas 2017

With spring comes sweet smell of nature, longer days, beautiful gardens, new clothes (and that closet cleaning) and also stylish spring outfits! Finally, we can shed the parka and break out our warmer-weather favorites. I can't help but smile wearing bold stripes, pastels and florals! Spring brings us some happy vibes and that is the best thing of all!

But when it comes to building spring outfits, we are mostly getting stumped. In winter, you can just combine turtleneck sweater that goes with any piece of clothing, like denim jeans and your favorite long coat. It looks fabulous and you stay warm in this chic outfit. As the temperatures get higher and the sun begins to shine everyday, all you want to wear is those pretty colorful clothes instead! The problem is mostly not having the right items, but how to put them together and make perfect spring outfits.

Fashion in 2017 is awesome, in my opinion, because the '80s fashion trends are totally back, like ruffles, customized denim jackets and shiny metallics! I also LOVE a lil bit of '70s like the wide-leg flares, baker boy hats and bell sleeves. You can seriously get creative with bold colors and just put them together fashionable way!

So you might be missing is a small dose of inspiration. To help you out, i have put together some cool outfits you can try right now!

Pair a striped mock neck sweater with black trousers and studded denim jacket for a casual look. Add leather shoulder bag, lace-up open toe block heel booties, a three strand necklace and baker boy hats!

Match a bell sleeves off the shoulder blouse to skinny staggered-hem jeans and satin bomber jacket. With mules shoes, punk hollowed triangle ear jackets and choker, and you are good to go!

Combine this cute striped off shoulder top with a peg trouser, leather jacket and choker necklace. For a touch of glam, add hummingbird motif mosaic black acrylic clutch bag and black patent loafers!

So what do you think about these outfits? Which one is your favorite? And what is the best thing about fashion trends in 2017? Let me know! I hope you have a great day!

3 Places You Have to Visit in Berlin

Traveling is one of those activities my man and i LOVE to do together and we wish to do every month. It is fun and we have the chance to get to know other cultures and see other places. Great thing is that we can go everywhere driving our car because it does not take so long and it is comfortable! You can bring so many luggages you want and you know you need some rest stops in the midst of a road trip. But sometimes it can be stressful that you wish you just take a train. And this time, finally, we did!

Last week my man and i visited Berlin. It was amazing because we finally can spend time together without getting stressed of driving car. It is kind of annoying that we have to wake up earlier but i have to say it is worthy!

First things first, dunkin’ donuts! I am a fan and i have been craving donuts for so long and it was never able to get any donuts in our city. It was my lucky day because here in Berlin there are so many of them! Like, everywhere! We went to Brandenburger Tor by U-Bahn and bought some immediately at the train station because i thought i wouldn’t find it anywhere again! Haha!

The Brandenburg Gate

Most of us know if you are here in Berlin, you gotta see the Brandenburg Gate! Here in Germany we call it Brandenburger Tor. It is Berlin's most famous landmark, which separated East from West Berlin politically and geographically before 1989, when Germany was reunified following the fall of the Berlin Wall in November the same year. Brandenburger Tor reinvented itself into the New Berlin’s symbol of unity. It is also surrounded by Embassies which are French, US, UK and many important government buildings. It is beautiful there and indeed an excellent historical building!

The Berlin Cathedral

As we walked to Alexander Platz, we saw a really beautiful place! It is Lustgarten and we discovered The Berlin Cathedral close to it. This Cathedral was initially constructed between 1747 and 1750 under Friedrich the Great as a baroque church. It is so magical i can't even!

Alexanderplatz & Weltuhrzeit

After that, we kept walking to Alexanderplatz, which is around 2 km away from The Brandenburg Gate. Actually it was not difficult to get there because of the TV-Tower (Fernsehturm). It is located directly next to Alexanderplatz and it can be seen from almost any position in Berlin. We also want to see Weltzeituhr but this was pretty hard to find because we came from other side of Alexanderplatz and there are so many buildings around it so we needed to walk around to finally be there.
Unfortunately it was raining heavily all day and the wind was blowing so hard we almost lost our umbrella that we bought there! Also, attempting to balance the umbrella on the neck and shoulder while i try to use my hands for camera is HARD, guys! But it was a lovely day and we had so much fun!

Have you ever been in Berlin? If yes, which place have you visited and which would you recommend? Tell me your stories! I love to hear from you! Have a great day!
